Boy Brands & Girl Groups of My Childhood

The first concert I ever went to was the Backstreet Boys. I sat right in the front row, so close that I could reach out and practically touch Nick Carter (who, I’m ashamed to admit was literally the love of my life before I entered the double digits stage).

Boy bands and girl groups were everything to me growing up. Music was at a peak when a group of talented individuals got together to make music, and for some reason (even with the rise of bands like One Direction and Little Mix) it’s just not the same today. The magic is gone, unless you listen to K-Pop, because they’re just owning the boy band/girl group world.

Below are the boy bands and girl groups that I grew up listening to, and can still be found on my iPod today. Any look familiar?
