Another week, another trailer to review!
So I’m pleased to announce that the trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming has finally been released and I must say it looks surprisingly fun! Spider-Man was one of the best things in Captain America: Civil War; Tom Holland is an amazing Spider-Man and an excellent choice to take up the mantel after Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
I like that Robert Downey Jr. acts as Spidy’s mentor on his road to becoming a full fledged Avenger…you know, after he graduates high school and such! Michael Keaton is playing The Vulture (which is hilarious after his performance in Bird Man) and Zendaya has been cast as Michelle. In the comics she was a lawyer whose brother was a police officer and roommate to Spidey. The two share a complicated relationship that results in a one-night stand at his Aunt May’s wedding. We’ve already seen films with Mary-Jane and films with Gwen Stacy, so I guess it was only a matter of time to give Spidy a new love interest on the big screen!
What do you think of this trailer? Are you excited for Homecoming?
