It Will Be, A Planet of Apes

Trilogies are in full bloom, and the amazingly done Planet of The Apes prequel/reboot is no exception to this rule. Hallelujah!

The War for the Planet of the Apes trailer has officially been released and it looks epic. What I love about these films is that it follows the apes journey and brings them to the forefront, while showing how humanity ultimately looses the planet. Each film always centres on Caesar, the leader for the apes, and his interaction with different humans and his ape family. As the trailer states, he never wanted war because he knows that not all humans are bad, but war’s been thrust upon him (due to the events in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes).

I like that we’re finally getting in the the nitty gritty of this story, the apes are finally taking on the army. And while we all know how this is going to end, it’ll be exciting getting to the climax! Plus, Woody Harrelson, that’s always a bonus!

Will Caesar die? Is this going to be the final film (and act as a proper trilogy?), will we see the apes enslave the humans with the death of Caesar?? So many questions, so little time!

Are you excited for War for the Planet of the Apes?
