Star Wars: The Last Jedi gives us another glimpse at the new film.
The first trailer finally gave us a look at Luke and his somewhat bleak outlook on life. However, this trailer takes it one step further, hinting that Luke wants no part in training Rey. That perhaps she’s a little too much like another he trained, Kylo Ren.
It looks as though the hear of this film may revolve around the tension that both Kylo Ren and Rey have with their respective mentors, and what this means for the Jedi. Perhaps it’s their mentors that will drive them towards each other. Paving the way for a new kind of Jedi, neither light nor dark, but both?
This film is probably going to pull on those heart strings. Especially since this is the last time we’ll see the late Carrie Fisher. Leia’s son has already killed his father, and from what this trailer hints, it looks as though he’ll struggle with having to kill his mother as well.
Finn is alive and well! We see him facing off against Captain Phasma, who will hopefully have a larger role in this film.
